Donate to the Legacy Scholarship

The Alter Legacy Scholarship Grant provides a one-year tuition grant of $500 to incoming freshman student at Alter High School. While the initial screening requires that the applicant be the son or daughter of an Alter alum, the selection criteria used will be based on academic effort, service, extracurricular activities and leadership. Initial funding for this scholarship was provided by the graduating class of 1983 and continues to be funded by various reunion classes.

This is a one-year tuition grant. It is the goal of the benefactors that parents and students will make a commitment to their education at Alter. It is a secondary goal that that all those benefiting from the tuition grant along with any others interested in promoting the values of leadership and character will help sustain and grow this program for future generations.
