Welcome to Alter Dance!

Cynthia Jecker comes to us from Incarnation School where she taught for 24 years. She joins the Fine Arts department and will be teaching dance alongside Megan Wean Sears (our theatre teacher/director and choreographer).  Cynthia will also continue to serve as the head coach of the Alter Lancerettes (yes, she is also a Lancerette alumnus!).

Ballet 1, jazz 2, and tap classes are introductory courses. These classes require no experience and are open to any student who would like to learn the basics of dance.  Ballet 2, jazz 2, jazz 3, contemporary/lyrical and the tap and jazz combination class requires a previous course or experience of dance outside of Alter.
