Great weekend of wrestling as the Knights put 6 wrestlers on the podium at the 2026 State Championship! Senior Rod Owens Jr your 190lb State Champion and is now Alters first 2-time State Champion! Congrats, Rod!

Our other 5 State Placers were Bronson Begley and Alora Strauser (3rd in State), Dash Koelker (5th in State), Blake Foucht (7th in State) and RJ Morgan (8th in State). Hundreds of wrestlers in each weight class fought for a spot at the State Championship. Only the top 16 earned it and 6 of your Alter wrestlers stood on the podium amongst the top 8 in the State.
We are proud of each and every one every one of them.

Alter finished 3rd as a team! Congrats to all these Knights and the entire wrestling team on a great season.
