The annual Powderpuff Football Game is right around the corner! Come out and support your senior Lady Knights as they face CJ for a fun and competitive flag football game, all while raising money for a great cause.

This year, all proceeds will go toward supporting Dayton Children’s, making every ticket, donation, and cheer count for something bigger than the game. It’s a great way to show school spirit and give back to our community at the same time.

The game will take place on Tuesday, May 5th at 7:00 at CJ’s Roger Glass Stadium. Admission is $2 and donations will also be accepted for Dayton Children’s. Come out and support your Lady Knights!

Thursday, April 30, is Senior Night for Boys Lacrosse. Come out to recognize our seniors at 5:30 before the game at 6:00 vs Carroll.

A reminder to all Freshman and Junior Theology Students to bring your computers to Theology charged today as you will be taking a on line test.

Attention Seniors attending prom. Practice to learn the senior shuffle is Wednesday 4/29 or Friday 5/1 immediately after school in the dance room. Practice will only last about 15 minutes and you only need to attend ONE of the sessions. See the email from Mrs. NIchols for details.

All Freshman students who have had a parent attend and graduate from Alter High School, please come to the main lobby on Tuesday, April 28th directly after school for a group photo. This photo will be used to recognize our legacy students in the Knight Times Newsletter.

Attention students…a reminder about the Lesotho Food Packing tomorrow morning in the Auxiliary gym. Please show up to your shift 10 minutes early. The shifts are from 9:00 to 10:30 am and 10:30 am to 12:00 am. Thank you!

Friday will be the last day for Prom Ticket sales during all lunches. Junior ticket sales will be billed to FACTS, Senior ticket sales will be exact cash, check or venmo payment. If you would like to purchase a mask they will be for sale for $2.

Students…we still need a few more students to help with the Senior, Senior Prom on Friday night at One Lincoln Park from 6:45 pm to 9:00 pm.

We can also use some more help with the Lesotho Food Packing in the Aux gym Saturday with shifts from 9:00 to 10:30 am and 10:30-12:30 am. If you didn’t get to sign up, you can go to InnverView or email Mr. Rich.

NHS is collecting school supplies for Crayons to Classrooms. We would love your support. We need pencils, pens, paper, crayons, markers and notebooks. Donations can be dropped off in Ms. Sanders room, 201. We will be collecting donations until May 1st. Your generosity is appreciated!

Attention any Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior student interested in running for a student council positions for the 2026-2027 school year. There will be a brief meeting immediately after school on Wednesday, April 15th in Mr. Schuster’s Room, 303. You must attend this meeting if you plan to run for office. Please see Mrs. Nichols or Mr. Schuster with any questions.

Any junior who is interested in announcing next year should pick up an application from Mrs. Metter. All applications are due on Tuesday, April 21st. No applications will be accepted after this date.

Powder Puff Practice will begin on Tuesday, April 14th at 3:20 on the practice field. Practices will continue each Tuesday and Thursday through May 4th.
