Things to do in Dayton to Celebrate Black History Month
February 8th –Black History Tour @Woodland Cemetery will offer a special tour of its indoor mausoleum, featuring beautiful stained glass windows and telling the stories of famous local African Americans two Saturdays February 8 & 22, at 2 p.m. Advance reservations are required.
Paul Laurence Dunbar is buried in Woodland Cemetery in Dayton, Ohio. He was the first African American poet to gain international recognition.
