Alter welcomes our newest “staff”member, albeit 4-footed, Dashuri(Dash for short). Dashuri means love in Nigerian, a fitting name for this special canine. Coach Chris Hart is his handler and together they are a certified Animal Assisted Therapy Team. Dash, a rescue dog himself, offers love and comfort to those he meets. Coach Hart and Dash completed a 10-week Animal Assisted Therapy course teaching both the necessary skills and behavior for certification. As you can see fromDash’s Alter badge, he is ready forwork here and at area hospitals.
