Much like the letters that are given out at Alter for athletics and academics, The Alter Castle Players are proud to offer students a letter in theatre. Students who participate in two or more productions in a season, or two productions total over multiple years (such as participation in two fall plays, two winter musicals, two spring musicals, or a two-combination of any of those), will become eligible for a letter. This participation can be as a member of the cast or crew. Those meeting the requirements for the first time will receive a letter at the end of the year theatre banquet.

After a student has received a letter, they are able to receive a star pin that can be attached to the letter. To earn a star pin a student must meet the requirements again (participation in two or more shows during a season or participation in two additional productions over subsequent years).

If a student participates in two or more productions for all four years at Alter, they will receive a theatre mask pin as their final award at their senior banquet.

We are excited to provide this outward and tangible sign of students’ commitment to theatre at Alter, and we look forward to this ceremony being part of our celebrations for years to come.
