Miami Valley Hospital Foundation will honor Mary Lynn Dorow at this year’s Champions of Hope ceremony on Oct. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at The Steam Plant in Dayton. This event recognizes four remarkable individuals for their achievements in the battle against cancer. Mary Lynn has bravely fought ovarian cancer for more than six years. As a mother of three adult children and the executive vice president of Fred J. Miller, Inc., she is described as a multi-tasker who always has a positive attitude. Active in the community, Mary Lynn has
served Alter High School’s students as a teacher and a 17-year coach of the Lancerettes.
Reserved seating is available at $125 per person. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the event will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and beverages. The formal presentation will start at 6:30 p.m.
Proceeds from Champions of Hope support expanding and enhancing integrative therapies and programs for oncology patients at Miami Valley Hospital.
