Due to the generosity of Alter’s Knights Council level of giving to the Annual Fund, along with special contributors Mark ’82 & Carla Lane, four incoming freshmen of Catholic elementary schools are selected based on their demonstrated leadership.
Award: $1,000 – two scholarships will be awarded
Eligibility: Incoming freshman graduating from a Catholic grade school.
Essay: In 200-350 words, please describe what being a leader means to you and how you demonstrate leadership in your life.
References: Two required
Special: Candidates should express interest to your grade school principal, certain first that you are demonstrating leadership in your parish and school by participating in extra-curricular, volunteer, and service activities.
In December, nominees will be contacted for an interview with a panel of school representatives.
