The Kacie and Tom Hausfeld Scholarship Fund helps Archbishop Alter High School graduates further their studies at the University of Dayton (UD). The fund was established by friends and family and serves to remember Tom Hausfeld, a retired business owner and active Alter High School volunteer, and his daughter, Kacie, Alter class of 2007 graduate and UD volleyball player, who perished in a plane crash in 2010. The Kacie and Tom Hausfeld Scholarship Fund was established by family and friends to ensure that the lives of Tom and Kacie will continue to be celebrated year after year as this scholarship is awarded. Both individuals lived lives of service to their community, their church and their family. This scholarship will continue that legacy as it touches the lives of many young people helping them achieve their goal of a college education.

CRITERIA:

• 3.0 GPA
• Accepted to attend the University of Dayton as a full-time student.

RENEWABLE: 3 years
