As advocates of Catholic education, the Burkhardt Borchers family has established this scholarship to provide financial assistance to families who share their same passion for Catholic education. Preference will be given to applicant students who are graduates of a Catholic grade school and who can represent Alter High School with high moral character. Awarded students can be considered for scholarship renewal in subsequent years subject to their good standing in the school, parish, and community.
