Dear Families,

As we celebrated All Saints’ Day this week, I am reminded that there are saints that walk among us every day. Ordinary people sent by God to us to remind us to be grateful, faith filled and to always strive for better in all we say and do. These models of faith and encouragement are essential to us for they help us in the difficult times and remind us to enjoy the journey in spite of the bumps in the road.

Unbelievably, we have already completed the first quarter, and the
second quarter is in full swing. Please be reminded that we are your partners, and we are here to help. As we continue on the road towards semester exams, it is important that both you and your child feel comfortable with where he or she is, and that you both feel prepared for the exams in December. Please remember that the semester grade seen on transcripts is calculated by the following formula:

1st quarter (40%) + 2nd quarter (40%) + semester exam (20%) = semester grade

We are always happy to meet with you to come up with a plan for success in preparation for the end of the second quarter, and the semester exams.

As we turn our attention to the month of November, my goal is to dedicate myself to intentionally live the next month in gratitude for all we have and all we are. We have so many examples around us of God’s grace and beauty surrounding us every day, but I know I don’t always appreciate them even when they are right in front of me. Part of my intentionality for this next month includes praying the prayer found below every day, and including special intentions along with it.

Know that you are loved and appreciated daily. Count on my prayers for all of you and know that I am so thankful to walk with you on this journey.
