John Schuermann was a proud graduate of Alter High School Class of 1986. A true example of what Alter stands for, excellence in faith, academics, and athletics. John brought laughter and life to any room he entered, a genuine giving person , dedicated to his family, friends, and a leader in the community. His character reflected his foundation of a catholic education at St. Charles , Alter and the University of Dayton where he also met many of his lifetime friends. John’s family and friends have created a scholarship in his name to assist in providing an education and opportunity to join the Alter family.
