John-and-Charlotte-Pernik

John and Charlotte Pernik were dedicated to their faith, family, and community. John, the son of Czechoslovakian immigrants grew up with few means. He met and married his wife Charlotte, a registered nurse at St. Elziabeth Hospital in Dayton who supported the family financially so that John could earn his degree at the University of Dayton. Upon graduation, John founded Dayton Plastics Company which he grew into a national company. Together, John and Charlotte raised and put through college nine children.
