Archbishop Alter High School is a four-year, coeducational, Catholic high school founded in 1962 with an enrollment of approximately 505 students. A part of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, Alter is a member of the National Catholic Education Association and is accredited by the Ohio Catholic Schools Accreditation Association. In addition, it is a chartered high school by the State of Ohio and accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.

GRADE POINT AVERAGE

GPA is reported on a weighted 4.0 scale. It includes all subjects in which a student received a letter grade. Due to the high level of achievement and academic homogeneity of the student body at Archbishop Alter High School, students are not assigned a rank in class.
