What is The Alter Fund?

The Alter Fund is a building block of the school, and necessary for us to thrive. It is our cornerstone gift raising effort for revenue used in the current fiscal year for priority needs. These funds also help fill the gap between tuition and the true cost to provide an Alter education.

The Alter Fund provides financial resources for student activities, academic programming, campus ministry, athletics, professional development, and financial aid. A healthy Alter Fund allows us to invest in priority budgeted needs and have flexibility to support new initiatives or programs that are presented during the fiscal year.

Recently, The Alter Fund gifts facilitated the cost to replace our stadium turf, allowed key faculty and staff to attend summer conferences to improve their skills, provided funding for the Hope Squad’s Mental Health Days supporting all Alter students and made it possible to host 400 grandparents for our annual Grandparent Thanksgiving Mass & Breakfast.
